Dear Waldo,
I'm glad you didn't listen to your mother when she said, "Waldo quit clowning around!"
Your ministry has truly been a blessing to our church for the past 3 years. We hope we can have you back for at least 3 more. You were "fantastico"! The kids paid attention, retained your message and they've been asking, "When is Waldo coming back?" It is evident that God has given you special talents and abilities to reach the young kids with the gospel message. Even the topics that sound confusing were brought across in a way that the kids really understood. Here are some comments I heard while you were with us:
One parent said, "My kids couldn't wait to get to church tonight to see Waldo."
In a conversation I had with two elders in our church they both said, "Waldo is a professional and he is excellent at what he does. The kids sit, listen, and hang on every word he says. He is worth every penny we spend to get him here."
When I asked the kids if they wanted Waldo to come back they all SCREAMED in unison, "YYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!"
I'm glad you were with us and I look forward to working with you next year. You did a terrific job. It's amazing how you can come up with a 3 point sermon, with 3 object lessons, and keep the attention of young people. You are blessed with an incredible gift. Always use it for His glory.
